Double audit success for MSE Hiller

MSE Hiller has received yet another set of perfect results for the Achilles Utilities Vendor Database (UVDB) Verify Audit.

This is the second consecutive year that MSE Hiller has achieved 100% across the Achilles (UVDB) Verify Audit’s four standards: health and safety, environment, quality and corporate social responsibility (CSR).

The company, which is a UK leader in the supply, installation and rental of centrifuges and sludge dewatering equipment, achieved the score following a two-day independent onsite assessment audit of MSE Hiller’s Safety, Health, Environment, Quality (SHEQ) management systems and CSR.

UVDB is the utility industry’s pre-qualification system used across the UK and is a mark of supply chain assurance for MSE Hiller’s clients.

MSE Hiller received Category B2 - Operational Site Works accreditation which is for high risk large suppliers which provide works or services on operational sites owned, managed or controlled by a utility.

MSE Hiller supplies, rents and services centrifuges and environmental engineering products to businesses operating in the water and industrial effluent treatment sectors. Clients include Birdseye, Scottish Water and United Utilities.

Further industry success

Further industry standard success was closely followed for MSE Hiller with the achievement of ISO45001 certification.

The ISO45001 standard was launched 2018 and was created to provide a complete Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) with a meaningful framework for managing Occupational Health and Safety risks and opportunities.

ISO 45001 focuses on identifying risks and opportunities, hazard identification and risk assessment, and operational controls. This standard is designed to help organizations, regardless of size or industry, implement an OHSMS to proactively prevent injury and harm to health.

MSE Hiller was audited by Intertek, a respected and leading Total Quality Assurance provider to industries worldwide.
